At Ma Cabane À Rêves, every creation is born from an idea, often driven by the desire to dream, to create, to tell a story.

But between the idea and the finished product, there's a whole world of research, trials... and adjustments!

It all starts with a sketch, an inspiration. We work hand-in-hand with the illustrator, in a joyful, creative back-and-forth like a game of ping-pong. Once the designs are approved, I move on to the layout: I adjust, readjust, and optimize each board to fit as many magnets as possible, without ever sacrificing aesthetics. A real brain-teaser — but I love puzzles!
(If anyone knows a software that does this automatically, I'm all ears! It would save me hours... 😄)

Then comes the prototyping phase. This is an essential step where I test shapes, colors, visuals... and especially the famous cut lines. Each prototype passes through my hands (and often under the critical eyes of my children!) to be evaluated, adjusted, and refined. Sometimes, a simple shade changes everything. A millimeter more or less, and the play experience is no longer the same.

Nothing leaves the workshop without being carefully validated. It's a meticulous but essential job to guarantee the quality, magic, and durability of each creation.
